Hair of the Week

Standard

bun1

As I said earlier this week, bunning is back in full effect in the Hairscapades household ;)!! So, just sharing a few pics of my hair through the week. It really needs to be washed now and I may henna tonight (hope it takes as it’s been sitting in the fridge since I thawed it this weekend!).

I let it down for a few minutes …

downhair2downhair2 downhair3

But put it right back up shortly thereafter (as pictured above and here) …

Played around with an old school favorite, the high and low twisted ponytails :).

(I didn’t wear this out of the house, but I’m sho’nuff bringing it back this summer ;)!)

And then bunned it up again.

And now I’m back in the top bun again ;). But yeah, need to wash this mess. Time to hit the showers and venture out into the snow!! Dang, where’s Wei when I need him to clean off my car?!?! I’ve gotten so spoiled Ā having him around ;). LOL!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!

OOTD: Tame Hair, “Wild” Outfit

Standard

jan_bun3

Just popping on really quickly to say, “Hey!” and show you what I was working with yesterday. *lol* So, yeah, the basic boring, tame bun is back. But seriously, buns are soooo easy and work for me! I pulled back my hair and made a bun by wrapping the hair and securing with hair pins (I’m getting the hang of those now and prefer them over bobby pins as they don’t snag and yank out strands of my hair when removed). I didn’t use anything to secure my hair into a ponytial. NO elastic; NO banana clip. Then, I just mixed a little shea butter and Eco Styler Olive Oil gel to smooth my edges before tying down with a satin scarf for the drive to work. My hair is on its last leg now and needs to be washed this weekend though as it’s been two weeks since my last washing session.

Now onto my “wild” outfit. LOL. It’s not really wild, but the title worked as the skirt is leopard. I am definitely getting my money’s worth out of this purchase. I honestly adore this skirt! It fits me like a glove and it’s just a great leopard print! I paired it with another closet fave, a structured, grey, wool blazer that I picked up at Marshall’s in 2011. I love the details at the shoulders on this blazer, and the lean cut and lapels make it so sleek. I paired the skirt and blazer with a black, blouson tank with a tie-neck, but left the ties hanging so they almost look like an open men’s tie. I finished the look off with black fishnet stockings, black ankle booties and gold hoop earrings.

jan_greyandleopard

I have a full length shot on my camera, but I’ll have to upload that to my computer and add it to the post later.

Oh, and on another note, I made a new coconut oil body butter on Wednesday night!!

cocoabutter_bodywhip

It smells like chocolate!! I’ll share the recipe for this one soon. And, I plan on being a little mixtress this weekend too. Want to try a bentonite clay mask like I told you the other day andĀ I also plan on trying my hand at making some flaxseed gel. I’ve made that before as well, but cooked the seeds too long, I think. So, the gel was too thick and viscous. Want to give it another go and see what it do ;).

HAPPY FRIDAY LADIES!!!!

What do you have planned for MLK Day Weekend?

Bunning Challenge Week 8: From Funky Fro’ to Boring Buns

Standard

curlyfropineapple

So, this is just a quick update to show you guys how the curly ‘fro fared on days 2 and 3 with pineappling at night. Overall, the pineapple worked well on Monday night. My curls held up except for a few that loosened on one side (the side that I sleep on, of course ;)). So, I did a little repair work using Deva Care Set It Free and the grey flexi-rods!

curlyfroday2_1

Twenty minutes later …

curlyfroday2_2

So, day two hair. Not bad. Not bad at all. Day three, things got a little more wonky …

curlyfroday3 curlyfroday3_3 curlyfroday3_2

It actually didn’t look too bad, but it was definitely getting frizzier and some curls were drooping too much. Thank goodness for the Hairscapades Bunning Challenge. As I’d worn my hair down two days, it was time to put that bad boy up! So, quick, easy, high bun it was!

curlyfroday3_bun

I did another simple and quick bun on Thursday (low this time), but didn’t get a pic … I mean, it’s all pretty much the same now. I did manage to take a pic of the quick bun I did with ONE Goody Ouchless elastic on Friday. This was after a loooooooong day at work.

photo 3Do you see the red eyes? I was DONE!

So yeah, that’s how the Curly ‘Fro turned into a bun over the course of a week. And, I know what you’re thinking, “How hard was it to detangle that on wash day?!?” Well, we’ll talk about that later.

***********************************************************************************************************************

So ladies, the Hairscapades Bunning Challenge was supposed to end this Saturday, 1/12/13. However, I’m planning on extending it another 2 months because I didn’t achieve my goal to gain another inch all around … because I got my hair cutĀ in December!! LOL!!! But, it’s in better condition now and I’m seeing a lot less shedding and breakage, so it’s all good!!

That being said, who’s with me?!?! Want to take this bunning thing to March 9th?!?!

Bunning Challenge Week 6: Henna Time and a Braid-Out

Standard

posthennabraidout

Okay, super quick update. I wore a pretty standard boring bun all last week. But, around Thursday last week, I knew that there was no putting off a henna/indigo treatment anymore.

hennaneeded

The roots were GLARING!! So, with a four day weekend ahead of me, I knew that I could get ‘er done! I’d already mixed and frozen a couple of boxes of henna a week ago. So, I just needed to decide which kind I wanted to use, thaw it and get to work.

I had mixed and frozen a box of Dulhan and Godrej Nupur and decided on the Nupur. I’d picked it up several months ago from my local Indian grocer, Patel Brothers, for about $4 based on the review of Marsha of Hairology. It is a BAQ henna, but has 9 other ayurvedic “herbs” added into the mix.

NupurHenna

viaĀ Godrej NupurĀ

Godrej Nupur brings to you the best quality Rajasthani Mehendi with 9 carefully chosen natural herbs. The ingredients are added in perfect proportions to give your hair the fabulous shiny & silky feel that you desire every single day.

Following are herbs used in Godrej Nupur Mehendi with their benefits.

Brahmi – Promotes hair growth.
Shikakai – Leaves hair clean & shining.
Aloe Vera – Maoisturises hair & makes it silky.
Methi – Conditions, nourishes & revitalises hair.
Bhringraj – Makes hair luxuriant.
Amla – Darkens hair colours, adds shine & luster.
Neem – Fights scalp infection & prevents dandruff.
Hibiscus – Rejuvenates hair making it shiny & silky.
Jatamansi – Prevents graying of hair.

Now, I was a little worried about the amla given my allergic reaction to it in the past and the excessive and prolonged shedding that I think was the result of it. However, because amla was low on the list and I knew to be on the alert for itching, I decided to give it a go on Sunday morning. And …

hennatime1212

Ā … All went well!!! No itching to speak of and, post 4 hours of henna/heat … great grey coverage!!

photo 5

Of course, after this, I had to apply indigo to the crown of my hair and then deep condition. Now, after dealing with my hair all day (started at 11 am, finished around 7 pm), the styling session was SUPER quick. I applied a little Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose conditioner as my leave-in, placed my hair into 6 braids and sealed with my coconut oil body whip *lol*.

6braids

It was dry the next morning by the time we were getting ready for my family Christmas Eve dinner (actually, the above pic is of dry hair), so I was psyched. And, I released the braids to reveal a pretty nice braid-out!

posthennabraidout3 posthennabraidout2

But, it was up in a bun before we went out the door. I know, I know! But, I had on a corduroy blazer, a wool coat and a scarf!! That’s a lot of friction and it’s exactly why I’m in the midst of this bun challenge! And no, it wasn’t even a fancy bun. It was a plain ol’, regular boring bun that wasn’t even that smooth around the edges. No pics.

Alright that’s it! Gotta go!! Hope that you all had wonderful Christmases!! Mine was nice, spent with my family on both sides, but pretty uneventful!

Lata!!

Okay Bunning Challenge ladies! Who is still doing this?!?! C’mon, give a quick shout and let us know if you are still hanging in there!

Bunning Challenge Week 5: Still Straight

Standard

straighthair121512_3

A little late, but here is the recap for last week ;). My hair was still straight and I essentially wore it in a twisted ponytail or bun every day except Saturday. I continued to use Sofn’Free Nothing But Mold & Hold Wax and Carol’s Daughter Healthy Hair Butter to keep my edges smooth and Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Reconstructive Elixir for softness and shine.

On Wednesday, during a late evening at work, I created this bun by wrapping a twisted ponytail around the hair elastic, tucking and pinning the ends, then spreading the twist a little to cover the elastic in the middle and securing the hair with another hair pin.

bunnedtwist121312_1bunnedtwist121312_2bunnedtwist121312_3

I was so pleased because it looked so intricate from behind, but was so simple and easy to do!!

On Friday evening, I arrived home to a LOVERLY surprise!!

Threadmillgift

photo 1-3

My wonderful Dottie of Threadmill made me earrings and a beautiful hat and infinity scarf set for Christmas!!! You see, her shop and satin-lined hats (which was a suggestion I gave her last year to appeal to her natural-haired clientele), were featured in Essence online’s article, The Ultimate Natural Hair Bloggers’ Gift Guide.

ThreadmillessencefeatureThere are some great gift ideas in this gallery, including Dottie’s hats, of course!!

Okay, back to hair. On Friday evening, after wearing my hair in another twisted ponytail during the day, I it into a chignon.

chignon121412_5

I slept in the bun and on Saturday in the early afternoon, I released it with plans to put my hair back into a high ponytail for an event … only to discover the prettiest waves I’d gotten from an overnight bun yet!!

straighthair121512_2

They were so deep, full and shiny … I was very pleased … except, I still had to get in the shower!! Ughh!!! But, I just clipped up my hair, threw on a satin-scarf and my terry-lined shower cap and got it done. The waves did fall a little from the confinement, but it held up pretty decently for the next part of the recap!!

A Family Holiday Dinner: “Operation Get Right” Got Stalled

Ughhhh. Yea. I didn’t work out at all last week :(. It was a rough week at work and I was at the office as late as 8:30 pm one night and didn’t get home until 7:30 pm most nights last week. And, although I didn’t eat horribly during the week, can’t say the same for the weekend. You see, we had a family holiday dinner on Saturday and the spread was RIDIC!!

photo 3

Gallery pics jacked from courtesy of my sister, Shana ;).

So yeah, completely fell off the wagon and need to get back on it *sigh*.

Oh … yeah … and you might want to know, a few other ladies and I got Jaded this past weekend!!

But, I’ll have to tell you more about that tomorrow ;)!

*********************************************************************************************************

So how are you ladies wearing your hair for your holiday lunches, brunches, dinners, parties, events, etc.?

Accessorizing a Bun

Standard

bunaccessories(source: TheBerry.com)

My sister sent this to me the other day! A little accessorizing inspiration for my bunning challenge ladies or, you know, those of you who just happen to wear buns ;)!! I particularly LOVE the idea of the hair bow clip!! I’ve seen the hair bow style that some of the ladies have been rocking popping up a lot lately. And, although I think it looks very cute on them, don’t see myself trying that one! But, the hair bow clip is a quick and easy way to get a little of that look!! Now, I just gotta figure out how to make my own with faux hair that looks like my natural hair!! Pretty sure that I have some curly/wavy synthetic hair hanging around that I can use to give it a go! You know that I’ll share if it works out ;)!

*********************************************************************************************************

Would you wear the hair bow style or the clip? What is your favorite way to accessorize a bun?

(Mine is with hair flowers!! No surprise there, right ;)?!

Bunning Challenge Week 4: Going Straight

Standard

braidedpony

Hair

Okay … so, let me put this out there right out front. I cheated. I did NOT wear a bun 5-6 days last week. Yes, I know. Shame on me *sheepish grin*. But, in my defense, because my hair was straight, it didn’t get all matted at the neck and tangled like it does when it’s curly! And, despite the fact that it RAINED off and on ALL week, my straight hair held up amazingly well!! I also didn’t completely abandon the challenge ;).

So, let me figure this out. I pre-pooed and washed my hair on Sunday to set it into two braids. I wore a braided bun on Monday for work.

Monday
photo 3-5

On Monday night, IĀ flat-ironedĀ and placed my hair in a single mid-height bun for bedtime. This resulted in a “beach waves” look that I wore to work the next day.

Tuesday
beachwaves

On Tuesday night, I set my hair in two buns when I got home, a high one and a low one, to provide more waves. So, I wore my hair out again the next day.

Wednesday
beachwaves_day2Ā

On Wednesday and Thursday night, went back to the single bun after work. I didn’t take a decent pic of my hair Thursday. But Friday morning began with loose beach waves that I promptly placed into a twisted ponytail for the work day.

Friday
straighthair_fri
twistedponycollage

I wore the same twisted ponytail to run errands on Saturday as it was still nasty and wet out. When we got home, I placed the pony into braid that I bunned and wore to bed. On Sunday, needed to head back out to for more errands and decided to re-set the braided ponytail and loop it into a bun. Good thing, because it was REALLY raining Sunday!! Ughhhh!!

Sunday
braidedponycollage

I really liked the braided looped pony, so very well may be wearing that today as I’m not washing my hair again until this weekend. Gotta get two weeks out of the straight hair at least ;).

So … you’re probably wondering what products I used on my hair while it was straight, right? Well, y’all know I have a ton of stuff sitting around. No? You didn’t know that? Well, let me show you.

PJStash1_Dec2012 This isn’t even all of it. Time for a meet-up and product swap! #dontjudgeme

Anywho, so because I have all of this, I’m not really consistent in what I use. The pic in the upper right hand corner is what sits on my sink though, so I tend to grab whatever’s handy and catches my eye from there. My hair started to feel rough on Tuesday night, so I grabbed one of my new faves:

SM_rawshea_reconstructive_elixir

OMGosh!!! Ā This Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Reconstructive ElixirĀ is like liquid gold for my curly or straight hair!! Maybe it’s the argan oil?!?!

Ingredients:Ā Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea butter) oil*, Argan oil, Vegetable Squalene, carrot oil, macadamia nut oil, Isopropyl Myristate, avocado oil, castor oil, Sebacic acid, sea kelp extract, essential oil blend, Lonicera Caprifolium (honeysuckle) flower and Lonicera Japonica (Japanese honeysuckle) flower extract and Tocopherol (vitamin E). *Denotes certified organic ingredients.

I “discovered” šŸ˜‰ this the Tuesday following Superstorm Sandy when I hung out at the house of friends who had power!! So, the female friend is natural and a PJ like me and we’re always talking hair and products. She was away, and while the cat’s away, the mouse will play!! When I went into the bathroom for a quick potty break, I saw it sitting on the shelf and remembered her telling me how good it is! Well, I spritzed a little of this on my hair and felt it soften immediately. But, that evening and the next day? It felt even better! So, I knew that I had to find some and picked it up a couple of weeks ago. Well, after I straightened my hair, I decided to use it again when my hair felt hard. Then I read on the bottle,Ā “Recommended for use following heat styling to seal cuticle.” Shoot! Wish I read that Monday night! So, I applied it to my hair before bunning onĀ Tuesday night and woke up to soft, lustrous hair on Wednesday. Yes!! It was as good as I remembered!! (Note: As it could be easy to over-apply, I spritz it into my palm and then smooth it down my hair.)

The other two things that I used pretty consistently were Carol’s Daughter Healthy Hair Butter (CD HHB)Ā and Sof n’Free Nothing But Mold and Hold WaxĀ to moisturize, smooth and hold my edges. Although the CD HHB has water as the first ingredient, when I apply it and tie down my edges, it doesn’t make my hair revert. I don’t know if that will be the case for everyone. But, I’ve used this on my straight hair for years and it’s always worked for me. I started using the Mold and Hold Wax on my edges earlier this year and it also works very well for me. It’s very thick and heavy, but not wet, so a little goes a long way. It also doesn’t flake on me or leave my hair hard, caky or sticky if I apply with a light-hand. Since it has dimethicone, it does require a shampoo to remove. But, a sulfate-free shampoo with coco betaine, like DevaCare No Poo, will suffice.

So, that’s about it on the hair front! It’s enough, right???

Operation “Get Right”

In health and fitness news, I’ve lost about 3.5 pounds in 2 weeks. I slacked and only did C25K two days last week, Wednesday and Saturday. On Saturday, I did do Lauren Brook’s 12 minute Full Body Blast Kettlebell workout before hopping on the treadmill. On both days, I placed my straightened hair in a bun and wore a Dri-Sweat Fit Cap.

drifitcap

The wide band worked well to absorb the sweat on my face and keep it from reaching my hairline while the mesh cap allowed my head/scalp to breathe, so that it wasn’t sweaty! I was very pleased that I was able to preserve my straight hair without the need to apply heat again. With the dri-sweat fit cap and my terry-lined shower cap keeping my hair dry, all I had to do was just apply a little product at night and tie my hair down with a satin scarf for bedtime and repeat in the morning and I was good to go.

Although I didn’t exercise as many days as I should have last week, I ate well all work week and made certain that I took my supplements every day. I had more starchy carbs over the weekend than I should have, but they were healthy ones and not really junk, so I didn’t feel too bad about it. I even had Chinese on Saturday night and Sunday for lunch. But, I “healthed” it up by having steamed broccoli and shrimp on brown rice with a drizzle of 1 packet of soy sauce and 2 packets of duck.

broccoliandrice#nomnom

On Saturday, I picked up some healthy snacks at my local health market. Got these Back to Nature Sweet Potato and Cinnamon crackers that are only 130 calories, 3.5 grams of fat (0 sat.), and 2 grams of fiber for 20 crackers (mmm mmm good!)!! I also picked up some Blue Diamond Wheat & Gluten free Nut-Thins with Flax Seeds with the same amount of calories, fat and fiber for 13 crackers. I LOVE getting a satisfying amount of food for a small amount of calories!!!

In regard to the upcoming week, I need to get back on track with C25K. I have to do day 3 of week 2 and all 3 days of week 3 this week. No biggie except that I have two long days in Trenton. That’s the same thing that happened last week and a 2 hour commute each way always drains me of the energy to workout when I get home.Ā But, I need to push through it as 30 minutes isn’t going to kill me. In fact, what I need to do is get on the treadmill instead of the computer in the morning and #JustDoIt!!Ā I also have a holiday lunch on Friday, so I’m going to try to be strong and order a healthy salad (dressing on the side) and/or a lean cut of meat with veggies!

Alright, this post has been SUPER LONG!! Guess that’s what happens when I’m recapping a whole week … and that’s not even all of it ;)! I’m saving something for another post later today!!

Lata Luvs!!

What about Christmas shopping? Started? Finished? I haven’t done ANY! I am not a fan. *lol*

Single Flat-Twisted Bun: My Turn!!

Standard

I did it!! Remember this Single Flat-Twisted Bun Style Inspiration post from the other day? Well, my girl Rece of A Hair Story tried it after I text her a pic of it. Check out her results here. So pretty right?!?! So, I had to give it a whirl myself on Tuesday night !!

(I flipped my pic so that you could see the twist on the same side
as the inspiration photo.)

What do you think? It’s not perfect. I think I should have taken the flat twist further down the middle and then to the opposite side of my neck before making the twirly bun. But I didn’t think it was too bad for my first try, especially since I don’t really know how to flat twist well!! I would really love to try this on straight hair or a light blow-out! Anywho, here are a few other pics of my first attempt at the style!

And after taking these pics and posting a collage on IG … I proceeded to take it down and put it in a simple bun for bedtime!! LOL!!! I know ;)!! Anywho, the next morning I released the bun to do a little scalp massage with a hair thickening product that I’m trying (IF you follow me on FB, IG or Twitter, you probably already know what that is ;). If you don’t, you’ll have to wait until next week to discover what it is ;)). And this is what my hair looked like yesterday morning before I promptly and quickly bunned it with a hair fork for work, because I didn’t have time to try to do the style again!

I <3 ♄<3 ♄<3 ♄<3Ā big hair! Too bad I had to put it away! Actually, I can’t stand all this hair around my face during work. It’s too distracting. But, maybe this weekend she can come out and play ;)!

****************************************************************************************************************************

So, have you tried any new styles lately? Are there any techniques that you are trying to master or learn?

Single Flat-Twisted Bun

Standard

How frickin’ pretty is this? And, it looks kind of simple! I think it’s a two strand flat twist that stops around the nape and the remaining hair is twirled and “folded” into a bun. So, I had saved this pic to share on IG when one of our Hairscapades Bunning Challenge ladies, @Chelle32675 , posted THIS pic!!

I was like, “Are you kidding me?!?!” How awesomely serendipitous is that?!! And guess what? It gets even better! She didn’t see the pic I was planning to share, she watched this YouTube tutorial!

via Beauty by Lee (aka liquidlinerlover)

One thing that you may have noticed is that the bun is rolled underĀ the flat twist, outwards toward the ear in the first pic. In Chelle’s pic and the tutorial, it is coiled on the opposite side, inward and over the flat twist.Ā The cool thing is that this is a style that can be modified and worn on different length hair! It may look slightly different when done on short versus medium length versus long hair, but it looks lovely on every lady, I think.

Now, if I would get off of this computer and hop in the shower to wash this mop, I might be able to set my hair in a braid-out so that I can try to do this bun tomorrow morning! Hmmm … that may be an aggressive timeline … maybe tomorrow night! lol ;)!

What do you think of this “Twisted Bun?”

Bunning Challenge: Week Two Recap

Standard

Last week was a short work week for me, but it involved a couple of road trips! First, Wei and I spent Thanksgiving at his cousin’s in the Poughkeepsie, NY area and then on Friday, we hit the road to south Jersey to visit my parents. On Saturday, we visited my grandmother, who lives about 30 minutes from my parents in south Jersey. Then, we finally hit the road home from there. I really should have taken more pics of the fam. Even brought the camera. It never made it out of my suitcase. So, all you get is a few phone photos!

This was a work day bun. Can’t remember if I wore it one day or two. It’s a simple roll and tuck bun. I know those flowers didn’t make it out of the door as they didn’t match my outfit. Instead, I wore a silver hair stick.

Prepping for my Thanksgiving Day big bun. My ponytail was too floppy and flat from being bunned since the prior Thursday. So, I spritzed it with a mix of water, Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose conditioner and AVJ to “pump up the volume.”

My Thanksgiving Day big bun. And, guess what?!?! I didn’t use a banana clip!! LOL! I just used a Goody Ouchless elastic and a few bobby and hair pins.

The spread!! Everything was soooo delicious!! We had turkey (of course), turnips, greens, rice and beans, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes and … brussel sprouts. Okay, can I tell you how I’ve despised brussel sprouts since I was a little girl. Little, nasty, mushy cabbages. My mom used to force us to eat one or two saying, “I know that they’re nasty, but they’re good for you.” And, for some reason, they’ve been serving them a lot as of late in the cafeteria at my job!! I just give them the gas face! But, these looked kind of good! And, I actually tried a couple!! And, they were good … though the peppercorn that I bit almost had me running scared of the veggies as I do NOT like super spicy food!! Turned out, Wei’s cousin added them because, “They look pretty.” LOL!! Anywho, I ate sooo much that I must have been at least 5 pounds heavier than I was in that first pic that was taken before we ate!! And, on another note, this was the first time I met most of the this side of Wei’s family and they were all AWESOME! I really enjoyed spending time with his cousins and especially the “little cuzzos” as he calls them ;). They were such good kids and so welcoming. It was really a fun time :)!

Okay, so this is a bad picture of my Saturday bun and that’s my mom’s freshly straightened hair in the foreground of the picture. My mom, dad, youngest sister, paternal grandmother, niece, middle sister’s dog and my parent’s dog were all present. But, again, no pics. I know!! Bad Shelli!! Anywho, on Friday night, we chilled, watched a marathon of “Say Yes to the Dress – Bridesmaid Edition” and Wei and I got hassled about when we were getting married and what type of wedding and my niece wanted to know if she could be a flower girl and my sister told her that she was too old and big and then my niece said she’d be a junior bride. Gotta tell you, watching that show reinforced my resolve not to have a big wedding. Them chicks CUR-RAZY!! Uh-uh. I ain’t got no time for that madness. Mind you, I know that my friends and sisters would never behave like them chicks. Seriously, I don’t understand how some of those women were even friends. I want to believe it’s just for the camera … but I know it isn’t. One chick’s sister was out of her mind … I really think she was a little slow … that girl was trying to wear a tiara and veil at her sister’s wedding! Said that “accessories” would make her feel special!! And, though they got her to take off the veil, chick kept coming out in bridesmaid dresses wearing the tiara. See for yourself here!! That chick straight-up CRAY-CRAY!

Okay, let me wrap this up. I stuffed myself some more on Saturday night when we got home with leftovers from my mom!

I need a detox man … ‘cuz I didn’t even take pictures of the desserts that I’ve been eating like a fool! But seriously, I’m on a mission to get a Vitamix blender for Christmas! Just gonna try to get everyone to give me Amazon GCs that I can use towards purchasing one!! ‘Cuz, I don’t know if you know, but I looked it up last week and that joker is EXPENSIVE!! Like, $400-$500 expensive!! Whew!!! (Hmmm … wonder if I could get them to gift me one for a wanna be bride weight loss challenge šŸ˜‰ … ??!?! *lol*)

Alright, that’s it. I’m out. No wash day news or new buns, because I’m still sitting in the pre-poo that I applied yesterday afternoon!

Lata Gatas!!

How was your Thanksgiving Week?

And, to my Hairscapades Bunning Challenge ladies, how’s it going?
