Alrighty now ladies! Here it is! The I Found It Cheaper page! In case you missed the post with the idea behind this page, you can check it out here. Now that your’e caught up, this is what we’re gonna do!

  1. I will list products that I use or that you have requested be added to the page. Each product will be listed with the seller, size, cost and shipping info, if applicable.
  2. The products will be grouped by category (i.e. shampoos, conditioners, oils, etc.).
  3. If you would like a product added to the list, in the comments below, provide the name of the product, the cheapest place you’ve found it and how much it costs (if you found it online, indicate whether free shipping applies and how to qualify [e.g. “Free shipping for orders over $25.”]).
  4. If you have found any of the products listed on the page for less, comment below with the name of the product, where you found it for cheaper and how much it costs (including shipping deals, if possible).
    • If the cheaper price is the regular price, it will be added to this page.
    • If the cheaper price is a special offer, sale or discount price or via a promo code, it will not be added to the page. However, please feel free to share this information in the comments below as someone may be looking for that particular item the week it is on sale. This page can become a resource that we can all check when we need to hit the stores to restock ;).
  5. The page will be a living document, because it will be updated regularly as we find products at better prices or want to add new products to find the best deals.

  3. CurlMart is having their “biggest” sale of the season. Save 25% at checkout when you use the code SUMMER25. Shipping is free with purchases over $60. I’ve never ordered from them, so I do not know what shipping is otherwise. The discounts cannot be used on Curly Cocktails, Curly Hair Solutions, Kinky-Curly, Miss Jessie’s, Wen, Curls, KYNX, It’s A Curl or Curly Q. Those were the ones listed on the promotional banner. Now when you get to the actual website, As I Am is listed as one of the product lines in which they cannot give discounts.

  4. Love this idea. Frequent vitacost for my Aubrey honey suckle rose. I get my fairtrade shae butter from the etsy.com shop Astridanaturals. I buy 2 lbs for about $17. If that can help anyone check out the shop. Its never dried out, consistant in texture, scent ((very very light)) price and availability.

I don’t know how long the sale lasts but I will be going back again today to stock up. Love their natural ingredients–I’m in PJ heaven!

    • @NikkiS: Walgreens has the same sale in Georgia right now. The sale should last until Sept 29th. I used the Nubian Heritage Indian Hemp & Tamanu Grow & Strengthen Edge Taming Taffy as a hair moisturizer/sealer. I’ve been using it since Jan or Feb, and I still love it. 🙂 I just picked up their Honey & Black Seed Heat Protectant Keratin Leave-in Conditioning Cream. I used it for the first time a couple days ago as a leave-in, and so far so good :-). I like the scent and texture of both products.

    • Dawn, for a minute I was like …. “I didn’t list the Sally’s GVP Conditioning Balm?!??! That’s one of my henna staples!!” But, it’s there, just in italics in the conditioner area … and I didn’t provide the Sally’s card price. So thanks!!

Also, I know they have Aubrey’s Organics for the low and a multitude of hair oils for under $10.

    • NICE!!! I can’t believe Family Dollar and Dollar General have all of this stuff!! I really need to start checking out more of them then the one around my corner. But, that one is REALLY a dollar store. Family Dollar and Dollar General are those “fake” dollar stores where things are $2, $3 and $5, aren’t they?!?! LOL!! But yeah, still can probably get a better deal, so will have to see if the ones in my area carry my beloved HE HH and Eco Styler!!

  22. Tip: Hit the “CTRL” and “f” buttons at the same time to search for the product you want to read about on this page (instead of scrolling through and reading E-VER-Y comment). That may seem like DUH! to some of you but I just KNOW someone has tired eyes right now from reading all this. 🙂

And yeah, I was going to say that TJ’s has jojoba oil cheap but somebody already beat me to it. Still, I’m glad to be able to link to this page b/c people ALWAYS ask me who has what product and for what price. Now there’s a nice little reference page to send some folks to. I’ll come back if I find something cheap that’s not listed.

    Thanks a lot!

Now, I have to hit “CTRL + f” to see if Trader Joe’s coconut oil is listed here already and if it’s the cheapest. I got a 16 oz bottle for $5.99 there last week and I’m pretty sure that’s the every day price.
