Déjà Vu: Cute Protective Updo

Standard

Last summer, I saw this Lilith Moon style tutorial video and attempted the style on an old TnC that had been stretched from bunning.

Well, it didn’t work out too well. I couldn’t keep the headband from popping off of my head and my ends seemed a little too tangled to make the style look like it was studied messy instead of a plain old, unintentional bird’s nest!! LOL! That’s why a picture of it never saw the light of day.

However, a few minutes ago, I came across a picture of a similar style on Naptural85’s Facebook page that was accompanied with a link to her video tutorial!

I knew that this style could be accomplished on natural hair:)!! If I ever get around to washing and setting my hair today (got a Vatika oil/EVOO pre-poo in now), maybe I’ll give this the ol’ college try again this week.

  1. I ‘ve done this style with old wash and go hair and it’s super easy and cute. Yes it’s very tricky trying to get the headband to stay on, but once you get to rolling the hair in, the easier it gets. Please post pics when you get it done:)
