A Count or a Bat?

Standard

The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorite movies. When I saw it, I just knew that Jim Caviezel should be Batman.  I thought that the young Albert would have made a worthy Robin as well. Alas, it was not meant to be. I found Bale suitable for the role and Albert is now Superman. We’ll see how that works out for him (the movie is looking a little suspect from what I’ve seen before … I just can’t do the trunkless Supes.  Just can’t.).

Did you SEE him walking down the stairs in the robe?!?! What?! If you haven’t seen this movie and you like a good revenge story, with action, romance, and heart, you should really check this one out.

  1. Hi Shelli! You probably won’t read this post since it old. But I had to come back and tell you thanks for this movie recommendation. I loved this movie, and ummm Jim Caviezel. That’s one good looking man.

    • I get an e-mail with all comments on this blog;). Sometimes I lose track when I get a lot in a day while at work. But, when I’m home, I’m all over them;)!! Tee hee! Yea!!!! I’m so glad that you picked it up and loved it!!! OMGosh … isn’t he just yummy in this movie?!?! I really wanted him to be Batman after this, but wasn’t displeased with Christian Bale as he had the same, tall, dark and handsome look and ability to play the brooding antagonist;)!!

But yea again!! On a sad note, I just loaned my copy to a friend who is a huge Batman fan. He couldn’t watch it because it kept skipping to the next chapter within the first 10-15 minutes of the movie!! I guess it was a well-loved DVD ;)!!
