Okay, so putting the GOC participants posts together is a lot of work!! LOL! I really wanted to try to get up another 15 contenders up today, but you all will have to be satisfied with the additional 5 posted this morning. I may be able to post another 5 this evening, but I’m not making any promises as I still have to reply to a lot of your comments too!!
In regard to this “hiccup” in the plan, I do have a good excuse. As you all know (I think), I’ve been slacking on my exercise routine since my Rugged Maniac on July 9th, only attending a few hot yoga classes since then. I’ve been promising myself and my SO that, come August 1st, I WILL get back on my grind as one of my GOC goals is to maintain my weight loss. One of the ways that I lost 25 pounds during the NC.com Kim Coles’ GOC was by vowing not to work on my hair blog until I exercised on scheduled days. Once I lost the weight, I wasn’t so compliant with that:/. I am now rededicating myself to that vow in order to relive my typical 6 month weight yo-yo cycle. So, if you don’t see a post from me on a weekday or only one, you know what happened (well that, or I was too exhausted from my workout to post! *lol*)! And, it’s your job to hold me accountable as I will you!!
That being said, I was only able to complete the post for the Fourth Wave of GOC contenders last night. But, being the nice person that I am;-), I thought I might try something to appease you guys. So, I filmed a quick length check video before I hit the basement for my kettlebell workout (technically, that’s not hair blogging 
)! AND, in the video, I’m wearing my completed DIY Length Check Tee!! Once I picked up some better fabric markers from Michael’s, I was able to finish it. How did you guys do with yours?!

(Btw, what do you guys think of the site’s new theme? I wanted one that display the complete posts and pics when viewing the archives under the menu tabs. This theme did that and I thought it was a little different and more visually engaging, but not so different that you think you wonder where you are or feel that it was too much change.)
I love the new theme Shelli. I’m hard to be happy for anyone right now though. My blog is broken due to some url change to my main domain and my hosting co. is working on trying to fix it but so far they can’t figure it out. It seems it only works for me when I log in to my account but then when I log out and try to view its broken
This is so frustrating. I wasup til almost 5am trying to fix it and to no avail.
I prefer this layout as opposed to the other one. I find that it is more pleasing to the eyes and a less hassel to read the rest of a post, etc. As for your hair growth–WOW!
You’re only 2 1/2 inches away from WL! I’m so happy for you and I wish I was that far along in my hair journey; however, being a fairly new natural in college isn’t creating the best conditions for my hair lol. But fall semester will be different! I plan on joining your GOC without actually joining it (simply because I have a few permed ends still attached and I won’t enter the meat of the challenge until I return to school on the 20th).

Ayeshia, thanks so much for the feedback!!! The font is a little small, but I really like it too! The prime reason I went to it is that i didn’t like how the “archived” posts only showed the “headline” and a few lines from the post. I wanted the pictures to show and for it to look like the running posts on the home page. So, I was pleased to find this one! Now, I have to figure out if I can change the size of the default font to make it larger. Thank you so much for the kind and complimentary words! So glad that you are enjoying the site and visit it often=)!!
